Symphony of the Seas

We recently spent a week on Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas.

We had a great time playing board games, listening to music, and enjoying great food together.

We were also able to both work on creative projects. One of my favorite things to do when we travel is to just spend time together in the same space working on projects.

Jon brought his computer and engineering equipment and made a lot of progress on his Serial Wombat open source project. I finished my first completed tapestry on my Mirrix loom, and finished a fruit plate watercolor I’m very pleased with.

I also finished a watercolor travel journal with sketches and journal entries about what we did every day. I have done this for all our vacations for several years. It is a great way for me to practice drawing and painting, and the journals are fun to look at later.
